Scope
These terms cover the irisp.org website and everything published on it: publications, research records, announcements, event information, images and the emblem. The site is published by the International Research Institute of Shared Perceptions (IRISP®); the registered address and the contact channel are given in the imprint on the Contact page.
Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms. The processing of personal data is governed by a separate document, the Privacy Notice; participation in fieldwork is governed by the consent documentation of each study.
Publications and citation
The institute's publications are open access. Each carries a reference number (for example IRISP/2026/005), and that number is the basis for citation: a title may be translated, the number does not change.
Quoting from publications, reporting their findings and linking to them are free, provided the source is credited. Republishing a publication in full or in substantial part elsewhere requires a request to info@irisp.org. The conditions for using aggregated data tables are set out on the Method and Data page.
Name and emblem
The name IRISP® and the iris emblem belong to the institute. Using the name in citations and news coverage is free; using the name or the emblem in a way that suggests the institute endorses a product, a service or a position is not accepted. Logo files and the usage note for the press are in the Press block on the Contact page.
Nature of the content
The content of this site is for information. Research findings are published together with their method annex and their margin of uncertainty; a finding presented out of context as a definitive judgement does not reflect the institute's view.
The institute takes care to keep the content current and accurate; errors that come to light are corrected under the correction rule described on the Method and Data page, and a correction record is kept. The content is nevertheless not designed to serve as the sole basis for any decision; responsibility for decisions taken on the basis of information on this site rests with the user.
Links and availability
Links to other sites are given for reference only; the content of linked sites is outside the institute's control, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Uninterrupted access to the site is not guaranteed; interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or infrastructure reasons. Crawling the site with automated tools in a way that burdens the server, attempting to circumvent security measures, and bulk republication of content without credit are not accepted.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated. The version in force and the date of the last update are shown at the top of this page; earlier versions are available on request.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts and enforcement offices of Ankara have jurisdiction over disputes. Questions and requests are sent to info@irisp.org.
