How personal data are handled on irisp.org and in the institute's correspondence.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This notice covers the irisp.org website and the correspondence conducted through it. The institute's research fieldwork is governed separately: every study carries its own informed-consent and data-protection documentation, published with its methods note.
Identifying registry details of the data controller will be updated on this page as the institute's founding formalities are completed.
irisp.org is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and uses no tracking technologies.
The only personal data processed through the site are those you submit yourself via the contact form: your name, e-mail address, subject and message.
Contact-form data are processed solely to answer your enquiry and to conduct the correspondence you initiate. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in responding to a request you have made, within the meaning of applicable data-protection law, including Türkiye's Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the GDPR.
Correspondence is retained only as long as the exchange requires, and is then deleted. Contact-form data are not sold, published or shared with third parties; they are processed only by the infrastructure that delivers the message to the institute's mailbox.
You may at any time request information about the data held on you, ask for correction or deletion, or object to processing. Requests can be sent through the contact form on this site and are answered by e-mail.
